This group serves as the coordinating agent between the administration and student body concerning school activities. Because of the large enrollment, there was an exceptionally large council which made it possible to form small committees where problems could be dealt with more etllectively. These committees were: Constitution, Election, Lunch Room Program, Snack Bar, Lost and Found and Tratiic. The first project sponsored by the council was the magazine drive which netted the council 3500. The council activity which benefited everyone in the school was the Snack Bar. Many classes were able to augment their funds by taking charge of the Snack Bar for several weeks. Une of the outstanding events of the year took place in April when the council played host to the Tri-County Convention. Discussion periods were followed by dancing and refreshments. The council has tried to establish a working system for future councils and to pave the way tor a better understanding between the administration and stu- dent body. NGSES FOR NEWS Chatter Bux keeps its members busy trying to put out a paper worthy oi the many awards it has received in former years. Under the sponsorship of Miss Kohler, every member is encouraged to de- delop a 'tnosezfor news, which they proved by finding enough material for two extra issues. This year members-of the class entered the Temple Press Tournament. Sandra Wcmodard, Chatter Buxn business manager, attended the P. S. P. A. Convention at Altoona and delegates from the class were also represented at the Columbia Press Association Convention. ' r C. PATTON, H. SPERGEL, E CARLSON, S. SHEMELD, R - ... - . WEBB, D. ANTLER UNDERSTUDIES This year for the first time the Iunior Class elected a group of thirteen students who will compose the Antler staff for the next school year. This staff has gained valuable information on the work involved in putting a yearbook to- gether, and it is hoped that this additional experience will lead to the production of bigger and better Central Bucks annuals. Accompanied by Miss Mantz, Antler advisor, a group of four students attended the Columbia Scholastic Press Association Conference in New York, March 15 and 14.
