U0u'II Never lllalk Hlune 'Die door swings open to the wide world. You the faculty, have gently, quietly, and unobtrusively prepared us for this exit. How can we convince you of our appreciation for the help you gave when we were troubled or in doubt, sick or distressed. Your patience, consideration, and willingness to lend a helping hand will never be forgotten. Through gym and swimming classes you showed us the coordination of our bodies, the reward of practice, and the joy of good sports- manship. You introduced us to the mysteries of the sciences. Through the social studies you inspired love of our country and understanding of others, What distant horizons you unveiled in English and American Literature, how earnestly you tried to make us think straight and to write clear, correct prose. You taught us the skills of the homemakers of tomorrow, and encouraged our interests in industrial arts. You stressed the development of speed with accuracy for the future nine- to-five workers. In other elective fields you developed our musical talents and increased our appreciation of beauty and foreign languages. And now the great door opens and we go out. We will return occasionally to tell you of our little successes and how we regret that we had not done better during our stay with you. Always you will be in our hearts.
