A brand new place to go to school. Old and new teachers you gotta fool. Meet new people and brand new brass. Facing these teachers is a tougher task. Same ole' friends but carpeted halls, There are better rooms and painted walls. There are new memories to be made. But cherised ones will never fade. Are these halls of learning or halls of joy? What can it mean to girls and boys? But here we are for another year. To Carrabelle High School well be true, and sooner or later we'll be through. l 2 For the past 7 years this man has worked with complete diligence and perpetual patience to help the students at Carrabelle High. The 1973 Flame staff proudly dedicates this edition to Mr. Charles Watson. aciivkiiM 4 5 6 Ul$$ Ytmhooh 1972 Kathy Banhw 7 £VJ!£ State DEENE RILEY Boys' State JEFF CRAIG 8 PAR Citiq i liip kwarul BARBARA LOLLEY BONNIE DANIELS KEN GOOLSBY PETE TAYLOR JAY FANNING 9 U t . Once I was told, they confessed That many times caught in a mess I believe it's the truth They lost their youth To get the book off to the press. With deadlines a monstrous menace And the sponsor with a grin or a grimace. They worked hocus-pocus To get pictures in focus. And finally the annual was finished! bloom Vll« e you 0 ■ . Mrs. Cannon has left her mark on all of our lives. She was more than a teacher, she was a friend. Her job did not end with teaching but extended into our personal lives where she saw us as individuals. She was always ready to encourage, help and advise. Mrs. Cannon was not selfish with her time or talent. In the short time she was here at CHS she organized the Drama Club, the first in many years. She also worked as sponsor of the yearbook and the Senior Class. She was truly a great lady. ” 91 Dfa ctfwy DORIS BARBER PENDLETON (Doris) - Jr. Beta 1. F. H.
