YET, IN OUR HEARTS. Our Class Here come the seniors. Of nineteen fourty-five. Marching along so cheerfully, To the Bryant High School jive. I'll try to name them. As they come marching past, And say a little about each. If they don't come too fast. First we'll have Virginia Craig. Who really likes her candy, Who is always in a joyful mood, With laughter always handy. Leonard Dale comes next, And of course his Model A. He is always having trouble. With the darned thing eveiy day. Bob Davidson comes marching on, With his happiness so dear, He likes to ride on horses, And graduate from here. Here comes a familiar face. I believe it's Eugene Dynes, Who wants both rest and peace, And for happiness he pines. Delbert Flesher comes marcing by, He had a swell G. I.. He likes to dance and swing, But never tells a lie. Here comes Dorothy Frank. Who is laughing all the while, And any time you can't find her, Just look for Hazel Pyle. Next is Keith Gillespie. Who is a friend to all, He got some brand new tires, When his gas was gone this fall. Here comes Fred Haffner, From the Main Street Service Station. Of course that's in Portland. He thinks it's the best in the nation. Beatrice Kenyon is coming now. Her sportsmanship is swell, We call her all kinds of names, But the source she considers well. Bob Masters is following her. Alphebetically of course I mean. He runs around with the Uptygraft girls At least that's what we've seen. Ah! I see Betty Morgan, She works down at the General Store. We call her Cig for short. But she doesn't care any more. Come on kids clear the stage, Bill Orr is coming on, And every place that you have been, You'll find that he has gone. Here comes Hazel Pyle, She is the president of our class. Ask the girls about the election, And they'll just let the matter pass. This girl you see is Wanda Pyle, No relation to Hazel at all, Say,-Wanda, where's your beau, The one you had last fall? Richard Shawver is coming next, A fine lad you'll find is he. Vie all torment him about the girls, That he is trying to see. Betty Jean Smith we know you're here So come out and show your face, Let these people have a look at you, Come on smile. just in case. Jene Wendel comes marching out. As if she were in a parade, Come on kid, just relax, There's no need to be afraid. Here comes Virginia Uptygraft, You certainly should know her, Bob Masters does I know, From the scenes I've seen occur. Here comes Royce Wright, Who never drives too slow. His Ford is like a Chameleon. It changed color not long ago. And last of all just me. Who really likes a friend, Who hasn't been here long, But Irstayed until the end. By Duane Dickson v
