Bryant R. Harper ADMINISTRATOR Mr. Bryant R. Harper assumed the duties of Administrator of Brunswick Academy on July 1, 1969. He came to us from Prince Edward County where he was Superintendent of the Public Schools for a number of years. Mr. Harper is, however, originally from Frederick County near Winchester, Virginia. Mr. and Mrs. Harper, who make their home in Lawrenceville, have two married daughters, and a son in college. They are also the proud grandparents of two boys and two girls. Mr. Harper feels that, we have been very fortunate this year in having been able to fill vacancies in the teaching staff. He would like to extend a most cordial welcome to our new teachers and to thank those teachers who have returned to retirement after helping us open school in September. The following is a direct quote from our new Administrator. “Although we are still crowded somewhat for space everyone, students, teachers, and patrons have been very cooperative and helpful. With this type of cooperation, I feel that we have had a most successful school year. I am particularly impressed with the fine attitude exhibited by the students, which also carries over to the teachers. d believe this school has much to offer, and I hope and trust that each student will take advantage of the opportunities offered him. I know that the school and all concerned with it are most appreciative of the contributions made by the students. I wish to extend to the annual staff and its sponsors my sincere thanks and appreciation for the work and effort they have put into this fine annual.” 5
