W2 A Q f l -s K, J' Junior Football After a season of informal activity, the Junior High Gridders completed their initial year as an organized team in 1947 under the tutelage of Rudolph Bruggeman. The Jun- ior Lacs showed a record of one win, three losses and a tie at the termination of the playing season. Sixteen boys received lct- ters, including thirteen freshmen and three eighth graders. The only two touchdowns of the season were made by Tom Richardson and Jack Sommer. 46
