DEANS Charged with the responsibility of training students in the rich traditions of the humanities, sciences, and allied fields, the new Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, Rev. Ernest B. Foley, S.J., has impressed all with the friendly yet vigorous manner in which he con- ducts the business of his high office. Of exceptional ac- complishment in Economics, his first love, blessed with remarkable energy and perspective. Father Foley richly deserves all the esteem and affection which the Class of 1949 profers to him. May the greatness of his ability assure him ad multos annos ! Vith small beginnings, but now a noble realization, the College of Business Administration has brought new life and beauty to Boston College. Under the aegis of its kindly, capable new Dean, Rev.
