No, we're not talking about the Varsity football team! This is a song that was used throughout the year and became the theme song of Mr. Wurfl, band director of the 1977-78 Marching Band. Led by drum majors, Kevin Briley and Chris Trott, they not only played this great song for Homecoming, but accompanied the Drill Team with such songs as Nothing,' from a Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Su- perstar, and Rocky , Twelve hours after Homecoming they found them- selves at our home stadium competing against other Los Angeles City Schools in the preliminarieslto see which schools would eventually go to the Sports Arena. They also competed at Northridge and marched with the Drill Team at Magic Mountain for Halloween. 6 , I .. ,g p ,nag if FWS 'el Fifi, ',- - Q if ,VI xiii lx' '. I V' L 1 7 'tl sad 7 ff EB ! f x, .
