Throughout the whole season the great formations for the shows were given standing ovations- and did they de- serve it! Not only did they march every Friday night but they also participated in two competi- tions and a parade at Magic Mountain for Hallow- een. Welcoming the visiting drill teams were greeters: Cathy Rose, Karen Esswein, Andrea Gesasg and Kim Pauli. Flag Girls this year were led by Steph- anie Martin and Jeanett Wainwright. The dance was arranged by Jan Porter, Commissioner of Social Activities, spon- sored by the Boy's and Girl's Leagues, and had its own disco Disc Jockey, Russ Mahler, an ex- Birmingham student.
