Shumate. T. Paul, K. Larson The enjoyment of a rehearsal break. Forensic Squad practices their one-act play. The Beloit Forensic Squad had 15 members this year. They traveled to two tournaments, one at Phillipsburg and the other at Ellsworth. The Forensics Squad did a one act play, The Devil and Miss Twiddle. They performed the play at Ellsworth Tournament on March 6. Anne Williams received a 1 on her prose selection The Land Lady . Mrs. Treaster said she was very proud of everyone who participated in Forensics. State Competitors were Noel Nothern. DeAnna Ives. Anne Williams, and 118 Kim Larson.

t Patti Adams was a State Scholar. K.U. Honor Student and received a Wichita State Scholarship. She was offered a West Texas State University Scholarship and a Fort Hays State Academic Scholarship. Joni Clark was chosen as a Century III Leader. K.U. Honor Student and received a Hutchison Community College Scholarship. She was also the recipient of the Robert Schaffer Scholarship and Boettcher Enterprises Scho-larshp. Brenda Gwin was a Dane Hansen finalist, K.U. Honor Student and received the Women's Panhellenic Assoc. Scholarship. Lana Reimann, Marne Mann. Angela Larsen and Kim McClintock broke the State record for the 800 meter relay in 1981 They placed first at State. 120 Kelly Amerine received a Fort Hays State Academic Scholarship. Tim Benoit accepted a wrestling scholarship from Colby Comm College. Steve Brown was the recipient of a Fort Hays State Wrestling Scholarship.
