FOREWORD The present is always built on the past. We, the Bulldog Staff, have given you a record of our school year, 1960-1961, because we are proud of its accomplishments. Our victories were many, our defeats, heartbreaking, perhaps all of it, a good picture of life. We hope that this edition of the Bulldog will serve as a record to help you recapture in memory the spirit of the fun and work you knew, and the friends you made and have kept here in Bailey. In this changing world some things waver and fall, but we hope the happy days of this school will remain in your mind as a brilliant ray when the dull fog of strife is long forgotten. DEDICATIO On behalf of the entire student body and 1961 Bulldog Staff, we wish to dedicate the 1961 Bulldog to our English teacher, Mrs. B. Trapp Cordova. We wish to thank you sincerely for your untireing efforts to teach us grammar, and your unselfish attitude to help us on the yearbook of 1960-1691. We dedicate this annual to you because of the continuous attention you have shown us in our time of need, and most of all for being a true friend to each and everyone.
