FOREWORD Door after door — key after key — at last, the beginning of a successful future and a cherished past. The Doors of Knowledge and Scholarship are hard to open, but with the right keys, teachers and study, it is simple. To open the Doors of Popularity and Leadership, we must have the keys called friends and ability. In high school, there are so many doors — so many unopened locks — and so many keys. Onl y by choosing the right keys for the right locks on the right doors, can we really begin a successful future. The key to unlock the Door of Past is in this book, THE GOVERNOR. This beginning of the future will soon become reality and then past. Today, this is not the Past; but Tomorrow, Today will be the cherished Past. 2
