SCHOOL DISTRICT Holland-Zeeland Fractional No. I Zeeland l-ligh Schools transportation of rural students is onother example of democracy in action, giving equal op- portunity for education to all young people of this area. We operate five buses on a cost basis, which is pro-rated per student to each district. As the map portrays, these exe tend like the arc of a great circle to transport over two hundred high school students each day, which is over fifty percent of the total enrollment. With this influx of rural students we are able to offer a wider variety of subjects. As these students ride through the countryside they have the opportunity to observe the beauties of nature 'round about them, various farm prac- tices-such as strip-farming, cover- cropping, rotation of crops, use of dife ferent types of machinery are seen and discussed with their fellow travelers as they ride merrily along.
