MISS IOYCE ELENBAAS Although Ioyces offi- cial position is secretary to our superintendent, Mr. Lubbers, her duties do not end there. She always has a few min- utes to spare for stu- dents and teachers alike who need her assistance or advice, and her cheerful disposition oi- l e r s encouragement to all, 12 MR. MELVIN BOUMA Upon receiving his discharge from the Army after four years of serv- ice, Mr. Bouma Joined our faculty as the coach of the second team in basketball and of our track team. He has sev- eral classes in Iunior High and, although he is quiet, he has a friendly smile for every- one. MR. ALBERT E. IONES Formerly bombardier with the crew of a B-24, Coach Al Iones success- fully took over his many duties at Zeeland upon his discharge from the Air Corps. His interest in athletics has helped produce excellent foot- ball, basketball, base- ball, and track teams. Along with these respon- sibilities, he is teacher of practical mathematics and United States his- tory. MRS. MINNIE FAIRBANQQS For rnany years Mrs. Fairbanks has capably aided all those who en- tered the quiet, peace- ful atmosphere of the library in search of knowledge. Her consid- eration ol each individ- uals need, and her coin- petence in imparting to others that which they desire, are qualities much appreciated by all oi us
