MR. MELVIN B. LUBBERS MR. HILMER C. DICKMAN Superintendent Principal The willing cooperativeness, friendly smiles, and cheery hello of Super- intendent Melvin B. Lubbers have won for him a Warm place in the heart of each one of us. Although busy at all times guiding Zeeland Public Schools, he finds time to give a word of advice to whomever needs it. The class of '46 especially Wishes to thank him for the way in which he helped share the tasks involved in the publication of the Stepping Stone. At all times efficient calm and good-natured, he is an integral part ol life at Zeeland High School. Completing his first year as Principal of Zeeland High School, Hilmer C. Dickman has once again shown his ability to get along with students. This first year as principal has been marked with success as Mr. Dickman with his choice bits of humor, infectious grin, and sympathetic understanding has directed student activities, remaining quiet and collected no matter what problem he faced. His intellectual knowledge is imparted to the students of Mechanical Drawing and Industrial Arts. ln addition he is the competent sponsor of the Student Council and the National Honor Society. 9
