7am ' wi :qw 'WMM' Abel CRonnie Wilsonj tries to explain the strange ways of the white man to the jungle Indian in an opening scene from the musical, 'tGreen Mansions 'Qaeen !f'f an4' March 29 and 30 marked the premier of the musical, Green Mansions , adapted by Mr. Fawcett from the W. H. Hudson novel. Miss Kaprielian of New York City provided the score and served as accompanist. Ronnie Wilson portrayed the hero, Abel, lost in the jungle, and Kay Worstall imper- sonated the lovely Rima, exotic survivor of a vanished race. Faculty member Mr. Biggs played Nuflo, the grandfather, chorus girls and boys were Indiansg and Karen Erickson was Rima's ballet counterpart. 'Alzqh Wmcdaw' ZHS, host at the annual Drama Festival, March 23, won superior rating with the one- act play High Window by Verne Power. Jill Youmans was later selected on the All- State Cast during the Columbus contest, and the play was presented at a student assembly on April l2. The plot concerns the mysterious death of wealthy Warren Winthrop, and the action occurs before a massive window from which Warren is said to have been shoved. Direc- tor was Mrs. Bonifant.
