COOK Cookie has been a member of the library club for the past two years. In '38 he was a mem- ber of the Courtesy Club and the Press Club. He represented the school in Junior tennis singles in the spring of 1988. Loi' COLLIER Often referred to as Short- Stufff' Loy was a member of the football and basketball teams, F.F.A., track, and Spanish club. Honey Chile a d v o c a t e S beauty on the basketball court, and the favorite nick-name of his many feminine friends. RUTH CRAMER Ruth Cramer has been a mem- ber of the Courtesy Club and was treasurer of the Home Ec. club in '38-l39. She topped her senior year, being elected Prin- cess to the Southwestern Sun Carnival. W. L. COLLINSWORTH Lonesome played on the Yani- gan basket and football teams. He played on the varsity his 2nd and 3rd years. He was football manager in '37. CLEVE Canon Better known to students as Pretty Boy Groom. Cleve has a very promising future in lieu of the fact of his various activi- ties. EUGENE BOURLAND Gene has been prominent in music during his high school career, being a member of the band and one of the outstanding members of the Glee Club. He has also been a member of various clubs, among them be- ing the Spanish and Courtesy Clubs. RICHARD DAVID BUTCHOFSKY Dick is prominent in all school affairs, being the most Popular Boy in '39, a member of the Student Council, Business Man- aprei' of the Otyokwu, member of the Press Club, and he starrecl aa' All-District football in 337, and was elected captain of the '38 team. 0 SANDERS CA, Y Casey Jonesl' entered in the fall of 1938 from E. P. H. S. Casey is a member of the Press Club and a well liked addition to the Senior Class. TIIELMA BUSCIIARDT Pepe has been the Secretary of the Home Ee. club and a member of the Library club. She was a candidate for most beautiful girl, proving she was well thought of by classmates. ANN CLARKE Arm was not in Ysleta high long, but we will remembei' her dramatic ability and her love of poetry. N MARGARET BURRUS Maggie has been a member of many outstanding clubs, and an officer in the Home Ee. Club. She was a member of the all- star volleyball and basketball teams. The school will miss her next year.

KPN' tkkb FRANCIS EASTHAM Francis has been a member of the F, F. A. and the band since entering high school and has proven to be a worthy member. DAL DEAN A new addition to our Senior class this year entered from Sierra Blanca. BILLHY ESCAJI-IDA Bee has shown at very active interest in music. ln her junior year she was a member of the band and of our nationally known drum corps. This year she is a member of the drum- mers in the hand and is one of our famous drum majorettes. She has also been a member of the Courtesy Club and the Library Club. For the past two years She has been on the Otyokwa Jon DAL'roN Bashful was considered one of our best all-round boys. He was a member of the football, basketball, and F. li. A. basket- ball teams. He was also a mem- ber of the band and track team ERNESTINE GRANT Squeaky has clone much to make known Ysleta High School in her activities as a Drum Majorette, Princess to the E. P. H. S. band concert and as a member of the Drum Corps in '38. In addition she has been a member of the outstanding clubs of the school. MAY DAITO May has been on the basketball team, made the tennis team and has been a member of several school clubs.
