Class Prophecy One day in the year of 1972, as I was listening to the news over television it was announced that Mr. gl Mrs. Gerald Verhoff had recently been blessed with their second set of triplet girls. Then came the amazing announcement that Leslie Hill is to make his Hollywood debute in Meet Corliss Archer . He is to play the part of Dexter, now isn't that strange It was also announced that the battle for the role of Corliss in the play had finally been won by Mary Ann Burk, who had really wanted the part. It seems they're doing what they always talked about. This made me want to look into the past and see what the rest of my classmates have been doing, so I decided to take a private plane and look them up. Upon arriving at the air-strip my airplane stewardess greeted me and it turned out to be none other than Diane Deppen, from my old class. She told me that upon graduation she entered an air line school and is now employed by TWA World Airlines. She seated me comfortably and the pilot came back to greet me, Pat Leber! We had a nice talk about the old days, then he told me what he had heard about my old school chums, and that he had gotten in touch with Dianne and decided to let me charter his plane, with her as my stewardess. I told them to go first to Texas, as I'd heard Lorraine Weisz was now living there. Once there I learned of her marriage to the Governor of the State. She is now raising her large family in that Large State of Texas. She was also boasting about the whole thing. I stopped to refuel my plane in Montgomery, Alabama and found my fuel man to be none other than Bill Heal. He told me he owned several companies now, and lives in Alabama with old friends. They are Joe Risner, now head basketball coach at Montgomery University. Joe explained he uses his mathematical brain in his basketball plays. And Gary Lee, now owner of the famous Lee Bakeries, world famous for their baked goods. Gary told me after working at that bakery after school, he just couldn't give it up. I bade them farewell and decided to go to Florida and look up Barb Brown. Sure enough she was there in Tampa, running a small street cafe. She finally de- cided to settle down in one state. I told her what I was doing and she said Mary Schiller was in Miami. I flew on to Miami and found Mary teaching English at an all boys private school there. It figured! She told me Darlene Norman sent her post cards quite often, since she moved to Hawaii. I flew on to Hawaii and found Darlene at her fashion shop in Honolulu. She is now designing clothes for the,Hawaiian Eye television series. She travels quite a bit and was recently in Bellevue and Clyde visiting some of the 'old gang. She paid a visit to Jim Missler who is now in Indiannapolis racing, so I left immediately to see the race. He was driving a Super jet , which he designed himself. He told me he is doing exactly what he has always wanted to do and I wished him luck, and flew on to Clyde and Bellevue. There were still several of the old gang in the township I wanted to see. My first stop was a visit paid to Gerry Verhoff to see those triplets I had heard so much about. They were being watched by their father. I wonder who is the boss in this family? Then Mrs. Verhoff entered and it turned out to be the former Beverly Kudro, she did get the six girls she wanted. The family doctor arrived and it was none other than Dan Richmond. I was greatly surprised and asked Dan why he chose this profession, and he said after the play, he took the part of a doctor seriously. On my way into Bellevue, to look up some more of the gang, I noticed a sign advertising Moyer's Chicken Farm, proprietor, Shirley Moyer. I can 'I3
