In the third grade Rees Davies came to York. Mrs. Eva Zinn was our second and third grade teacher. The second, third, and fourth grades were the biggest for us with 15 pupils. Mrs. Carmella Heffner taught us in the fourth grade, Mrs. Jane Britton and Mrs. Helen Fryer in the fifth. Richard Davies joined the class in the sixth grade. Mrs. Helen Fryer was again our teacher in the sixth grade. As seventh graders we were sponsored by Mrs. Murial Heath and Mrs. Hilda Hippensteele. In the eighth grade we were runner up in the interclass basketball tournament. This year our sponsors were the same as last. In the Freshman year ,T ack Brincefield entered our class. Entering our senior year with Mrs. Dorthy Heidlebaugh as our sponsor we presented Take it Easy as our class play. We served the Thanksgiving Dinner this year. This year we worked especially hard toward our goal in getting enough money to go on our class trip. We finished our senior year with the Prom, graduation, and our long-awaited trip.
