Senior Class Play The C1ay's The Thing Jack and Luke, two happy-go-lucky college youths, conceive the brilliant idea of dressing up their chum, Jerry, as a woman and entering him in a national beauty contest, not only to Win the prize money, but to launch the sale of a beauty clay which Jack has concocted. So Jerry, who is clever at female impersonations, enters upon a wild and perilous career as a professional beauty and, posing as Luke's sister, soon has the two in hot water up to their ears. Descending upon the summer home of Jack's uncle, a manufacturer of cosmetics, to whom Jack hopes to sell his beauty clay, the boys stumble into an impromptu house party that turns out to be a wasp's nest. They meet a theatrical magnate who promptly falls in love with the masquerading Jerry, whereas that harassed youth has lost his heart to J ack's sister, who is impersonating a maid. The ridiculous tangle is eventually straightened out, but not until it has been complicated even more so with the arrival of a poetic and henpecked capitalist, Clayton Parmer and his wife. The arrival of Jessie Stewart, another beauty contestant does not help matters because Jack loses his heart to her.
