Bow 3: Carolyn XYise, George Swygart, Edward Jones, Jane Overholt. ' I Juniors At last we have reached the next-to-the-last step in our upward climb. This year has been the busiest and the best of our school years. The concession at the basketball games was the first thing on the agenda, the biggest thrill came when we received our class rings in Novem- ber. We had a very nice Christmas party at Jane Overholt's, and we also sponsored an 'All High School Party, February 14th. But, the year has not been all play and no work. Every six weeks the Juniors put out our school paper, the Spotlight g we gave a class play April 21st and of course, the Junior-Senior Banquet on May 5th. This is always as much fun as it is work. Decem- ber 7, 1949 we had a surprise birthday party on Hugh Owen Pugh. We had our Christmas Party at the home of Kay Galloway. On March 14, 1950, we sponsored a box social and presented an exciting one-act comedy, entitled t'The Hitching Postf' which was a mock wedding. The members of the class participated in the many school activities. They included: Y-Teens, Baseball and Basketball.
