PM F xi Basketball OUR PLAYERS 33-Don Boley-Forward Don's excellent shooting and stellar defense work made him one of the greatest basketball players at York. He will be greatly missed next year. 55-David Doan-Forward Dave was a real scrapper to the end. He had plenty of power and was always on the job. We hope he is back with us next year. 00-Gordon Jones-Center Gordon was a good defense man and next year he should show what he has in the line of basketball. 11-Edwin Pollock-Guard Ed was a smooth ball handler and always on the job. Whenever the battle was tough he was always in there fighting. He will be missed on the squad next year. 66-Dale Calvin-Guard Dale was with us only one year but he soon showed us that he was flashy with speed to burn. He will be missed on the squad next year as guard. 88-Dale Lewis-Forward Dale made some good shots from the cor- ners and he was always in there pitching. He will be missed next year. 44-Harold Boley-Center Harold was in there plugging all the time. He was fast on his feet. With three years more to go, he should make one of the Duke's aces. 22-Howard Bevington-Guard He was a fast man on his feet and he brought the ball in. He has two more years with the Dukes. 77-Don Price-Forward With the experience that Don had this year, he should be one of York's aces.

OUR COACH Mr. McConaha, who came to us this year from Bowling Green to take over the coach- ing duties at York, is from Ft. Recovery, Ohio. During his high school career he played varsity ball for four years. After four years in the Army, he entered Bowling Green. He has been untiring in his efforts to develop our team. We hope he will stay here and en- joy many successful seasons.
