Mary Linton This year for the first time we served the Thanksgiving dinner and it was quite an experience for us. We hope all were filled. We served at four basketball games and on December 23 we sponsored a Turkey Raflle and We made 32100. In April we presented our class play UHILLBILLY COURT- SHIP, and hoped everyone en- joyed seeing it as we did giving it. First Row-Edward Rigdon, Allen Thomas. Class Prophecy Van Wert, Ohio May 30, 1958 THIS IS STATION WYHS!! Here are predictions for 1958 by Slapsy Maxy Paul Davies will be elected governor of Ohio by a unanimous vote of the people. He will be called the Smiling Governor. Mary Ellen Couts will be happily married to a famous Dayton business man. He is the owner of the noted Purdy Buick Sales, serving Dayton and surrounding areas. The Cincinnati Reds will have a new star pitcher, who is, HOLD YOUR SEATS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, the one and only Don Boley. .Evalyn Burnett's high average in Hygiene will finally bring her through. She will take over her duties as head nurse at Walter Reed Hos- pital next June. 1 predict that Dale Lewis, better known as Walter, will have a two hun- dred acre farm and he will call it Oxhead Acres. He will have a complete line of Ford equipment. Joanne Bevington will be head waitress in the largest and swankiest of Cleveland's Lake Front Restaurants. I predict that Dale Calvin will be in Hollywood, riding his favorite pinto, ACE, in all the western thrillers. Eva Watson will be the best soda jerker in Michigan. They say that she can whip up a soda in no time. Wayne Bolton has never rocked a boat, but he will be captain of a cat- tle boat which will go to Germany in a few months. I predict that Morgan Roberts will be State Agricultural Agent. He always did like Ag in his school days. To date, Edwin Pollock has eluded all females, so I predict that he will be elected President of the Lonely Hearts Club. Aside from my duties as radio predictor, I have a farm on which I raise pure-bred mountain goats. I hope to have three hundred head before the year is over. 18
