The other was a New Year's party, held at John Brenneman's. where we watched the New Year come in and resolved to do our best in school in the coming year. We all enjoyed our Christmas exchange. The whole class is proud that John Brenneman and Howard Bevington made the Varsity bench during the season. For Thanksgiving we put on our first real play. It was Wildcat Willie Carves the Turkey, with Mrs. Morris directing. We were all proud that we were asked to put it on for the young people's box social in Venedocia. We also put on the Christmas chapel with a very short play and carol singing. 26
