The membership of Student Council consisted of seven or eight repre- sentatives from each class, the class presidents, the standing committee chairmen and iunior members, and the Council ofticers. Every Thursday the Executive Committee met in preparation tor the Friday Council Meeting. The Executive Committee is made up of class presidents, standing committee chairman, and Council otticers. Problems, activities, and suggestions from the student body made up the business ot the Council. The class representatives reported from this meeting to the various home rooms to which they had been assigned. Some of the items handled by the Council this year were Homecoming, Senior-Faculty Game, tickets and bus transportation for all out-of-town football and basketball games, the March of Dimes Cam- paign, and the class elections. The Council also contributed to the support at an adopted child in Germany.
