The third Northern Arizona Regional Science Fair was held in the Yavapai College Gym March 20-24. Students from twelve grades from Coconino, Apache, Mohave, Navajo and Yavapai counties participated. Mr. John Duran, YC biology instructor and Science Fair Director, said the purpose of the fair was to help students get involved in science. A Pickett Award, Army and Navy certificates, cash awards from Arizona Society of Medical Technologists, and S25 certificate from Kodak were given to winners. This ac- vity bus will fill a longstanding transportation eed at the college. Upon arrival, the bus was put to immediate service by the Rough Rider basket- all team for its trip to Yuma to play Arizona West- rn. ln addition to athletic trips, the new coach is ear- arked for use by the YC choir, for field trips, and r use by any campus organization on an author- ed trip. Previously, all transportation at YC was y college station wagon or by chartered bus. Of the three acceptable bus designs submitted, e Crown Coach was selected by last year's Stu- nt Council and approved by the YC Board of overnors.
