Toni Lee Scott, lecturer and singer appeared on campus November 24 for a seminar at 3 p.m. and for a performance at 8 p.m. in the Music Room. She had appeared on the Johnny Carson, Steve Allen and Tennessee Ernie Ford shows. Her story was featured on This ls Your Life TV program. The United Cerebral Palsy Association named her Entertainer of the Year, and the Heart Association named her Woman of the Year. Sidney Rosen, a man who traversed over 97,000 miles through 51 countries on foot, by yacht, jeep, ox-cart, cargo plane, fishing junk, richshaw, and camel appeared on campus Wednesday, September 23, to tell of his travels. He told of his experiences on a 26-month hitch- hiking trip around the world on a budget of 31 per day.
