In the second semester we N, 1 'S lost Margaret Lindberg, Billy Klumker, Melvin Behr, and Lyle Hulvey. si S we were all afraid of the initiation activities, but they really werela 5? lot of fun. During the year we gradually learned our way around h gh schoo , - ' 5' and found it quite different from rade school' but it was a leasant differ- . ence. I ' 8 I p W 1 Q, x I A. September 18, 1944, a group of sophomores took their seats in school. 3 kgs. ' le were a little excited but quite happy. we had lost a few classmatesg but ' q e X A . N sb vi, is also gained some. The sophomores were: James Anderson Wallace Campion E . , 2 A Claude and Clyde Iacovetto, Glen Kelsay, Billy Klumker, Nadine Ardrey, Twila s X AS., Benedick, Margaret Canaday: Iva Decker, llarilyn Gardner, Donna Martindale, is f Betty Maddux, Amy Mingee,Neva Peters, Bernadean Rose, Reba Tomlinson, Margaret 1 x Welty, and Lila Williams. We lost Billy Klumker, Marilyn Gardner, and Betty S' S 1 Maddux in the second semester. E S- JE S Duri the ear we ave the play 'More Fools Than One and enjoyed Q X' S4 putting itgon. WZ thank Eur sponsor, Miss Morilla Mae Harvey 'for helping us with the play. We entertained the Seniors and friends at the Junior-Senior 5 X j Prom this year, and Margaret Welty made a very lovely Prom Queen. The Gym was ' ,bw 3,1 decorated with stars and balloons. The large. star in the center was white, N fs ' . decorated with handmade American Beauty roses. Blue and white streamers Ni .Sp fastened at the edge of the center star, formed another .star around that star. I S sl We had a good orchestra and everyone enjoyed the evening. Many thanks to Miss Q EQ To--A Harvey for her help and guidance with our Prom. il X We began our Senior year with Wallace Campion, Claude Iacovectto, Glen ' Sf - Kelsay Reba Tomlinson Nadine Ardrey, Margaret Canaday Iva Dec er Jess e - 'M Q' Easterly. Donna Martindale, Neva Peters, Margaret welty'and Lois Wynn. Soon . g ,Q after school began, we lost Lois Wynn, which left us with the eleven seniors j ,f Ss we have now. - s gi I 1' S During the year we have had a lot of fun together with our studies and SSS social activities. The sophomores andiour class were the losers on the Grizzly N Q Sh! Growl subscription campaign, and had to give the party to the other classes. f' March 21, we presented our play, 'Bargain Bride, and thank Mrs. Laughlin fit P for being our sponsor. Wehad many laughs during practice, and enjoyedpresent- 0 N ing it to our families and friends. X . S S As we graduate and go out into the world, we will try to make our school Y as proud of us as we are proud of our school.
