FOREWORD 'l'his is your 1951 Lolomi. In it we have attempted to capture the memories of the past year. You will see yourself and your classmates participating in assemblies, radio pro- grams, athletic events, and then formal pictures of the seniors plus group pictures of the sophomores and juniors. Each club member is pictured in his respective group's picture. You see portraits of the faculty, art work done by the talented artists of our school and snaps taken by our school photographer. Always included also, in the Lolomi is the traditional shot of the school building itself-sometimes in fall costume, other times in winter or spring garb. All these things combine to make one happy year at Yakima Senior High School. We of the Lolomi staff sincerely hope that you enjoy reading this book as much as we have enjoyed preparing it. 4
