Kathy wasm my friend. I never have gone to her home and she had never come to mine. We didritfcall each other on the phone much--except maybe I'd give her the asignments when she was absent-. . . but she was my friend . . . my true friend. Kathy was everyone's friend. Whenever your world seemed to be a little damp and things weren't going right, all you had to do was talk to Kathy and her'glow would melt right through and chase the gloom away. Her smile and joy were sincere and a chuckle was either on her lips or on its way up. Today I went to her locker, number 113, I know, because I gave it to her. There were three books in it, also a spiral. There was a dress, Oh, what a wizard she was with a needle. . . . Then, in a corner, there was her beanie. How often had she wom that when she talked with her God! How very close she is to H-im, now. How can I say what Kathy meant to me? How can one describe a visit with a queen or a trip to Paradise? She was the most unselfish, understanding, and self-sacrificing person l have ever met. We all love her, we all miss her, and while we will glance with sadness at the empty place at our lunch table, I know she's just gone to a new home where there is no fear and no pain, no sorrow, no despair, and no unhappiness. We know she's there, snuggled up in His arms. She holds a place which even a king must envy. We all know what words cannot express. May the angels take you into Paradiseg may the martyrs come to welcome you on your way. Good-bye Kathy, Good-bye,- -95- M 1 i Q Q 6 il Il 41 ?
