Not too serious, not to-J gay, A gooil fellow in every way. .lohn joined our elass only this year, hut it seems that he has been with us always. lle has studied with determination and has made an excellent record. Brains. however, are not Jolm's only merits, for he is very well liked among the student body for his eheerful' ness and friendliness. Now as vice-president and a member of the Honor Court, Mary has proved her popularity. Likable for her dry humor and earefree ways, Mary will surely he a success wherever she goes. FLOYD ESTELLE Floyd l'andor, NX. 'fTinu- has fallen asleep in the after- N noon of sunshine. Floyd attended Sem for the first time this year. And although one year doesn't provide adequate time to really get to know a person, we feel that we know Floyd well. After graduation. Floyd hopes to attend Cornell Fniversity and then go on to Massaellusetts institute of Technology, where he will study to he a mechanical engineer.

That dark-eyed handsome student seen around campus is none other than Luis, one of our many stu- dents to eome from foreign coun- tries. Luis is an ardent wrestler, laut because of an injury suffered in the early part of the season, he was not alale to take part in this sport. Ile plans to study at Lehigh to heeome an engineer. LILA GARRAHAN Seranton, Pa. A cheery smile warms the eoldest heart. Coming to Sem just this year, Sally has become well-known as well as well-liked. She plans to go on to Hood in September, where her pleasant personality is certain to carry her far. Foming to Sem in her freshman year, Lila immediately made many friends and introduced to the voealaulary of her intimate friends, such phrases as Hesadoralale , Yeya, sure , etc. She has proved herself to lae an excellent student and excels in mathematics. When Lila isn't thinking of Roh. she ean usually he found knitting laeautiful ealale-stitelaed sweaters or intricate argyle soeks. That shy, laashful grin of Louie's is well known on our eampus, for he has made many friends in his five years at Sem. Sports rank high with Louie and he is an active member of our swimming team. Maisie, when soft voices die Vilarates in the memory. The pretty hlond-haired senior is none other than Ginnie Harris. An ardent lover of nmsic, Ginnie is a member of the Girls' Glee Ulula. Proof of this is the fact that she plans to continue her education at Westminster Choir College.
