IHRST TEAM BASKETBALL Third place in the Grand Valley Conference was the reward for a season of hard work and intensive concentration on the hasketluall courts for the '-18-'19 edition ol' lvaskeleers representing Vtfyorning High School. And another race-another season of track is underway. lnterest in Grand Valley track has bounded in the last few years, and a subsequent enthusiasm has developed here at Wyoming. All track meets will be staged under the lights at Lee Field, attesting to this new-found interest in the thin-clad sport. Wyoming has been tabbed the udark-horsew of the conference and our Vikings bore out that prediction in their opening dual meet by dropping a hard-fought engagement to the powerful Godwin Wolverines. Under the experienced tutelage of Mr. Engels. our Vikings could go places this year. The final results are uncertain, but one thing is sure. the Vikings will uphold their high standards of sportsmanship in every race and meet they participate in. 54
