I can still remem- ber the seniors we looked up when we were freshmen. They seemed so big and con- fident and everything went their way. It seems impossi- ble that anyone would idolize us like that- but maybe they do. Once you get up here things aren ' t a whole lot dif- ferent-- except that it ' s fun to be on top! 141 Senior year is made up of days of waiting . . . wait- ing for homeroom to end, waiting outside Miss Gulp ' s office, waiting to hear from that perfect college, waiting for the Washington trip, waiting for that dreaded de- tention slip that you ' ll get because you went out for lunch, waiting for the bell to ring on Friday afternoon, waiting for games, for par- ties, for fun . . . Looking back at the things we did makes us realize how much we took for granted. The big things we did as a class we ' ll never forget, like the Mammoth Cave trip, the class picnics, the Washington Trip. But even the little things that we so often overlook are impor- tant- -studying together, working together for a good team, finding a new friend, all compose pleasant mem- ories of our high school lives. Now all tlie experi- ences we had are coming to a close, and June 2nd each will go his different way, but in the back of our minds, we will never forget, our last year to- gether. 145 Faces , . , Faces we ' ve seen around for four years --maybe longer. Faces that mirror the per- sonality of WHS --understand- ing, embarassed, or excited faces, the puzzled face with wrinkled brows, or the face with puffy eyes --(stayed up too late last night finishing that term paper), --Liut best of all is the face of a Happy Friend!
