Wright School for Girls was established primarily as a college preparatory institution. Therefore the academic program is dedicated largely to this purpose. The Superintendent and the Dean, in planning the course of study, give first consideration to the demands of college curricular. Each faculty member is in close contact with the newest developments in the areas of his course, and provides classroom experiences through which students may become proficient in basic subject information and skill. Throughout the school a climate favorable to the highest level of achievement is maintained. Classes are small enough to permit individual consideration yet of sufficient size to engage in group activities. A splendid library invites both research and leisure reading. Labora- tories are well equipped with apparatus and other materials essential to demonstration and experimentation. A modern auditorium-gymnasium is readily adaptable to formal assemblies, plays, concerts, lectures, teas, dances, and sports. The Superintendents and the Dean's offices are open at all times to parents, students, and faculty for serious conferences, patient discipline, understanding guidance, or just informal chats. This climate is the direct result of our unity of purpose and cooperative effort - to the end that we may acquire knowledge, and the ability to enlarge that knowledge beyond high school. xv 5 ,f 4 c ,f We , Mail! www A as S M. , .
