Evidence of the change is reflected in the fact that a new site and buildings were necessary. Chandler Village [photo on preceding pageJ was open in 1 9V3.. It offers approximately 500 students a “home away from home convience to the campus. The Administration, Sullivan, Gym and the Learning Resource Center serve as the major sites of classes. ORZE □ear Students: Saying good-bye is difficult. You will be saying good-bye to your undergraduate days at Worcester State College, and I will be leaving the college to assume a new university presidencey right after your graduation. Although you will be graduating, don’t ever say good-bye to Worcester State College. As it will be for me, make it a continuing part of your life. We will become alumni together, and I trust that we will always hold the office dear and be supportive of it. I have enjoyed and learned from my presidency of Worcester State College. It is a fine school, truly a people’s college.” Its students, like you, come from many walks of life and leave it to walk many others. If you will accept me, I will be proud to be a part of the Class of 1 BB2, the last graduating class of my presidency. Good luck. Good Fortune and Godspeed to each and every one of you. No book could further exemplify those characteristics than does the 1 3B2 Raggensdraggle. Many, many hours went into the planning, designing and laying out of this book. It wouldn ' t have been at all possible if it weren ' t for the people ingredient. Many thanks to Bobby F. for some really super pictures, to Kelly for all her copy work, to Robert who came and gave 1 1 OPfa, to Mark who did everything from typing to taking pictures, from pushing to meet deadlines to giving support and thanks to the rest of the staff. A special thank-you goes out to Bob Valinski and Todd Benson whose last minute darkroom exposures gave the book it ' s final touch. Lastly thanks to our publisher and friend Arnie Lohmann who showed us home plate when we were out in left field playing in the tall grass. We ' ve come a long way this year — from a rocky start, occasionally falling in a pothole here and there to the satisfaction of meeting our last deadline by literally minutes. Read and enjoy!
