' Seniors Present Two-Acl Operetla BY LOU'lSE HARMON A two-act operetta entitled Red Candles was presented at Worces- lter High School on December 20, 195-5 at 8 'p. m. The operetta was presented by the senior class for the purpose -of helping to finance their yearbook. This operetta was centered a- round two girls who had not seen 'their mother for five years, The 'two girls, Libby and Gilda, had to stay with a guardian until their mother was found, Libby remem- bered he-r mother by a pic-ture on the table. On Christmas eve, after Libby 'had gone to bed, the spirit of Chrigtmas, Santa Claus, Snow Flake and the Wooden Soldiers came to Libbyls house, Also, on Christmas Day, Madam Clara came -to Libby's house to visit Mable and saw her picture. Seeing this picture brought back Madam Clara's memory, and she realized th-at shel was the two girl's mother.
