The Board of Education This ls Your New Day in Education says the Wfooster Board of Education. One of the most important projects of the Board during the past year was the publication of a booklet en- titled This ls Your New Day in Education. The booklet shows by means of graphs, pictures, and words the growth and cost of our physical plants over the past decade. It also includes many other factors of interest concerning our schools. Dr. E. E. Holt, Superintendent of Public Instruction in the State of Ohio, was the featured speaker last fall at the dedication of the new gymnasium and shops. The addition to the Junior High School was also dedicated at this time. New equipment has been added in several depart- ments. A display case on the second floor of the high school has facilitated the teaching of Dis- tributive Education. Additional apparatus has added to the effectiveness of the program in science. This year the Board has begun work on a problem which will be facing them in the future, that of welding the Madisonburg School District to the Wooster City School District. With this annexation, our school district will have over 4,000 students. Mr. Chester Shamel ..... ........., P resident Dr. William Schultz ..... ...,.
