Freshmen Time of Changes Learning New Friendships FRESHMAN CLASS OFFICERS: Mary Beth Hinker, Student Council Representative; Jeff Van Leur, President; Cindy Niel- son, Vice-President; and Jeff Bockomy, Secret ary-Treasurer. FRESHMEN - This was THEIR TIME. It was a time of changes, learning, and new friend- ships. The little green Freshmen entered high school enthusiastically - not knowing what to expect, but ready for anything. They elected Jeff Van Leur, President; Cindy Nielson, Vice-President; Jeff Bockorny, Secretary -Treasurer; and Mary Beth Hinker, Student Council Representative to lead them throughout the year. Now they were ready to show everyone that they were a class with much ambition and spirit. The Frosh started off with Homecom- ing - building the bonfire, constructing a float, and practicing for the big game. Next came carnival. The Freshmen chose Tina Kilcoin and Larry Murtha as their candidates and through much hard w'ork they captured second place honors. The Freshmen progressed through the year becoming involved in, growing with, and being a part of Woonsocket High School. This was THEIR TIME - now they move forward as Sophomores. 26
