Class Officers. Left to right: Kathy Berens, secretary-treasurer. Lee Larson, vice-president; Advisor Floyd Elenz, Dave Bockorny, student council representative; Teresa Kistler, president. Sophomores Continue Their Climb Another year has ended for the sophomore class. Even though the sophomore class was small, they had a very successful year. With cooperation from everybody in the class, they came out on top at the carnival. Their candidates, Kathy Berens and Jack Schulz, were crowned as Queen and King. The class was very proud to have three girls chosen as B” team cheerleaders: Gwen W olter, Teresa Kistler, and Kathy Kilcoin. They did a fine job leading our Little Red onto many victories. They also entered the school spirit with a nicely done float for Homecoming. Waiters and waitresses for the junior-senior prom banquet were chosen from the sophomore class. The waitresses were Kathy Berens, Peggy Prins, Jean Meyer, Teresa Kistler, GwenWolter, and Joyce Linke; and the waiters were Dave Bockorny, Lawrence Cross, Jack Schulz, Lee Larson, Randy Weber, and Lywellyn Tollefson. 18
