PAPER STAFF EDITS “ ” The Woonsocket High School paper, the Smoke Signals, is published once a month. It brings to the students the activities of the past month and a list of those to come. It also contains interviews ofseniors, editorials, a joke column, an advice and guidance column, and other interesting articles. This group was busy taking pictures of the W. H.S. activities. These pictures had to be sorted, choosing only the best ones, and filed with a copy story. The pictures had to be measured, cut, and pasted along with the copy on layout sheets. The result of this toil was the 1967 Redmen for Woonsocket High School. The money used for the production of these books was raised by selling ads, running concessions at basketball games, and by the purchase of annuals by the students. 20
