Junior - Senior Prom and Banquet ■■ 1956 Joan Brewster, junior president, arranges place cards for the banquet. AN EVENING IN PARIS The Juniors gave a party; The guests by dozens came— The Jensens, Heggs, and Olingers And guests of every name. The mothers spread the banquet Of most delicious food. Sophomores did the serving In gay and festive mood. Miss Audrey came in yellow; Mary Jane in crimson dressed. Glenda, Pat, and Marilyn In sapphire looked their best. In best suits were the fellows And many a pretty tie. The sight was like the rainbow. New fallen from the sky. It was in gay, ah, gay Paree They ate, chatted, and played. Petite Fifl bade us welcome; Jacques’ response was made. La belle ChlChi did a solo; Maurice his headlines read. The sextette did some singing. And Andre’s goodbyes were said. Guests at the banquet relax after the dessert. Dan Moran, Sharon Rumelhart, Joan Brewster and Marlon Hegg stand in front of »he Effiel Tower. Then in the march to follow To right and left they strayed. The Grand March soon was ended And everybody stayed. Monsieur Mike’s band played louder; They flew about the floor. And then the party ended With ’’merer' and Mau revoir . Wendell Ferguson, Phyllis Baseman and Mary Jane Ferguson relax at a sidewalk cafe in Gay Paree. Marilyn Schmidt, Judy Rumelhart, Carole Cunningham, Trudy Schlict, Deloris Vallen, Mary Ann Merriman, Julie Murphy. Rose Ashby, Joan Smith and Joyce Flanders served at the banquet. Junior - Senior Prom and Banquet --1955 ary Brewer and Richard Parsons the Junior-Senior Prom of '55. Ten Sophomore girls served at the banquet Juniors and Seniors during the grand march. JUNIOR MOTHERS PREPARE BANQUET. The Big Top was the theme for the annual Junior-Senior Banquet and Prom held Friday even- ing, May 4, 1956. Ten sophomore girls acted as waitresses for the banquet. The banquet was served at 6:30 p.m. in the lunch room. Table decorations fol- lowing the circus theme. At 8:00 the Grand March was held in the audi- torium. Mary Brewer, Junior Class President and Richard Parsons lead the procession into the circus Mary Brewer pauses for punch between dances. A fat lady and a clown sat on each side of the en- trance. Monkeys hung from the ceiling on tra- pezes. Balloons hung everywhere. Music for dancing was furnished by the Mike Gibbs orchestra.
