Sophomore Center An inexperienced football squad took the field for Woonsocket High School in 1952 composed of boys who had seen little or no first-string action pre- viously. Their season's record of 2 wins and 5 losses failed to show the spirit and hard work put into the game by players and coach. During this 1952-53 school year, Woonsocket and Artesian with- drew from the Pioneer Football Conference in which Woonsocket has been a member for eight years, to form a new Miner-Sanborn Conference. .
