Twenty-two Freshmen entered Woonsocket High School in September,”but Jerry Klaas and Dorothy Foos dropped out be- fore the semester. Class officers were President, Deanna Thill; Vice-President, Bernard Olinger; and Secretary- treasurer, Mary Jo Ball. Class advisor was Mr. Trabing. Mary Jo Ball was on the Hi-Life Staff. Robert Brown, Wendell Ferguson, Dan Moran, Gary Ronnefeldt, and Robert Thompson participated in foot- ball. Those taking part in basketball were: Robert Brown, Leon Eddy, Wendell Ferguson, George Fuerst, Dan Moran, Bernard Olinger, Gary Ronnefeldt, and Robert Thompson. Mary Jo Ball and Deanna Thill were two of our twirlers.

Those active in basketball were Aubrey Fisher, Ronald Marsh, William Schroeder, Richard Parsons, Ronald Goeman. Thomas Steichen was elected cheerleader by the student body. William Schroeder and Aubrey Fisher represented the class in declam work, Aubrey winning a superior rating at the contest in Plankinton.
