On a memorable September day, twenty-five freshmen entered the assembly and were introduced to their class advisor, Mr. Warne. On October $» Roland Beitema transferred to Forestburg High School. Class officers were president, Mary Paulson; vice-president, Aubrey Fisher; secretary, Shirley Dechow. Several of the class participated in declam work and Donald Olinger won a superior rating in the local contest. Ronnie Marsh, Aubrey Fisher, William Schroeder, Richard Parsons, Ronald Goeman were active in basketball with Tommy Steichen as manager. The freshmen raised $119.35 for the carnival.
