This was the day our school house burned to the ground We then attended school ln the different churches rn the community On January 1 1950 we moved into our new school btuldrng By this time we had en tered Junior High School under the direction of Mrs A D Collins In the eighth grade we had become accustomed to changing classes Our teacher this year was Mrs Lors Davis During the Freshman year our teachers were Mr Ray Collins and Mr James Stone In the tenth we were under the directron of Miss Anne Davie We had our share of picnics and parties too Some of the boys entered sports for the first time The grrls also had new interests this year they began studying Home Economics Once they had the prlv ilege of exercising their ability when they were asked to serve at the Junror Senior Ban quet Now in our Junior year we were under the leadership of Mrs M T Holms and Mrs R B Derrick Some of the hrghlights of thrs year were Junior play Quit Your Krddmg March 20 Junior Senior Banquet Aprrl 1 1954 Ordering of our class rings which came ln April, was another event not to be forgotten Now the time we have long waited for has arrived we are the Seniors of Woodvrlle High Now we must look toward graduation with much gladness, yet sadly too b cause we will have to leave the place where we had so much fun Looking back over these twelve years the things we had dreamed of had really come true We will always cherish these memories of Woodville High School with love and adoration Now we take a few pages from our treasured diary These things w1ll always be lmpor tant to us July 20 The officers were elected They were Rayford Hall President Virginia Bates Vice President Coleman Wilson Secretary, and William Butler Treasurer August 18 Seniors ordered calling cards November 29 Nancy Rousseau was elected Miss Woodville High December 17 Class favontes were chosen, January 5 and 24 prctures were made for the annual by Glst Studios May 20, 1955 Graduation I s Q Q u s Q s Q Q y Q Q Q 1 9 0 ' Q Q Q Q o Q Q Q Q 4 Q Q Q Q Q 1 0 ' - 1 1 . 1 s Q .
