one-:woncl Woodruff with its students a d faculty: its pep assem- blies amd stunt shows: a d the clamor in the cafeteria, the rush between classes. and the slamming of lockers at the end of the day--all are part of our everyday school life. It is this life that we of the Talisman staff have tried to picture in the following pages. The portrayal is not hampered by a time-worn theme mak ing everyone appear as Indians, aviators, pioneers, circus clowns, or puppets. Instead we have tried to show the stud ents as they really are--working, studyinq,relaxing, and en joying their days at Woodruff. Because of this modern in- terpretation. it is our hope that we have been able to pub- lish a yearbook that is in keeping with the high standards set by the students and faculty of Woodruff High School.
