Wonder what the table when they leave? will look like Are wc h,i in; Long snack has been a Wilson tradition for many years. It took place every Wednesday. A few minutes were taken from each class period and added to snack. The purpose of this was to allow the Student Body Officers to attend their weekly meeting while students watched the 7th. 8th, and 9th grade cheerleaders perform their routines. Long snack was an opportunity for stu- dents to get together as a variety of activities took place. The pie-eating contest and the ice-block races were held at this time and spirit points were awarded to the grade level showing the most en- thusiasm, spirit, and pride. Next to Friday, Wednesday was probably the most favored day of the week for Wilson students. Are we having second thoughts? 69

Where ' s the ski school? (D. Muff, M. Wakeman, R. Zick, J. Park. B. Foster, E. Chapman) It ' s a bird! It ' s a plane! It ' s . . . ' ' (D. Larsen, R. Chapman, E. Chapman) The 10th annual Mammoth ski trip was a smashing success. About 100 students went with Mr. Culler, the metal shop teacher, to Mammoth Mountain. The ski trip, sponsored by Mr. Culler and the Boys Scouts, was appreciated by all. Dur- ing the vacation, students were chaperoned by Wilson teachers. There were two buses and a van that took the skiers and their gear up to the moun- tain. On the three day weekend students skied, shopped, and most of all had a great time. Thanks Mr. Culler! Where are all the guys? (A big group) 70
