Over half of the student body participated in this exciting event. Each homeroom cheered on their team, showing their school spirit. The overall winners in the Tug-of-War were Mrs. Laughlin ' s 9th grade boys and Mr. La Masa ' s 9th grade girls. When they came up against the faculty, the faculty won. Better luck next year, students! i iyr.A,.- j- ---r»- •-.: A. Sanchez 62

MY, OH MY, IT ' S THE To start off the fifth annual Turkey Bowl, Miss Chesworth and Miss Lovejoy held up a banner displaying, Go Gob- blers ' . The women faculty ran under it like turkeys in a frying pan drenched in butter. The game started when the 9th grade girls kicked off to the awaiting faculty team. Boy. did the action start then. The people that watched had more fun than humans should be allowed. Both teams seemed equally matched since they were hopeless in gaining any yards. Somehow, by acci- dent, the faculty actually scored making them the winning team by 1-0. Maybe it was because of the fact that 9th grade girls were distracted by Mr. Allen in his wig and skimpy dress. The biggest part of the game was when Mr. Isenman came out as the Turkey Bowl Queen! Everybody could see that this was the best Turkey Bowl ever! ' ilf-i . %%. 9th Grade Cheerleaders J. Isenmen R. Rapiij. J. Konjevod, S. Cameron J. Farris, D. Peterson, B. Bates, D. McDonald. E.
