A CLASS OFFICERS: Annette Deal, Girls' Vice-President: Marc De Fevere,Presidentg Richard Montague, Boys' Vice-Presidentg Pat Helbling, Secretaryg Nileen Carrier, Treasurer. I On that memorable day of January 6 the cornerstone was laid for the Egyptian pyra- mid when the class of S'56 donned the powder blue and white and began their Senior activities. As the Egyptians of old, they sought to make the motto chosen by the class a reality for, in vain we build the world unless the builders also grow. Lead by Presi- dent Marc De Fevere they grew academically through their school work and socially through the many class activities. The pyramid began to develop'when the picnic and tea were held and the second and third layers of blocks were laid. Two last maior Egyptian activities were the Senior Prom and the traditional breakfast. Forming the apex of the pyramid, the last block was laid on graduation night at the East Los Angeles Junior College when the Egyptians reached the end of their high school days.
