The Art and Music Departments are concerned with the aesthetic side of the curriculum. Through such classes as art appreciation, ceramics, A Cappella, and orchestra the students receive the opportunity to develop their creative abilities and to bring pleasure to their com- munity through the media of exhibitions and productions. Through the gymnastics program, students build healthy bodies, through the corrective program those who are not physically fit develop so that they can take part in the regular physical education curricula. The activities that they participate in stand them in good stead when later, as adults, they take part in community recreation. TOP- Wil- son's efficient cafeteria staff. PHYSICAL EDUCATION CHAIRMEN-Two very popular people on campus are Mr. Barthel and Mrs. Healy, the heads of the Gymnastics Departments. HEALTH OFFICE-The school nurse, Miss Sheriff, takes care of all the cuts and bruises, Mrs. Irvine, Health Coordinator, guards the health of Wilson's students, and Mr. Calhoun, Athletic Coordinator, is responsible for the health of the athletes as well as making arrangements for all athletic events.
